1994: the P84 powder business as well as the stock shape manufacturer Sintimid GmbH was sold to Ensinger/Germany
1996: the P84 polyimide business HPP was acquired by Inspec Group a management buyout of British Petroleum Special Chemicals, Imitech Fibres as separate company was founded
1998: the company name was changed to Inspec Fibres GmbH
1998/8: Inspec Fibres was acquired by the UK based chemicals company Laporte
2001/7: Part of Degussa (Advanced Polymer Shapes (Plexiglas) – Films& Foams
2003/11: Exclusive distributor of PAN-fibres Dolanit® manufactured by Dolan GmbH
2006/1: Part of Degussa BU HP (High Performance Polymers)
