Inspec Fibres 7th Annual Appreciation Dinner & Technical Seminar

This years annual event will take place in Chicago, Illinois during the Filtration 2007 Conference at the Navy Pier on November 14-15, 2007.
Our Technical Seminar will be two-fold; the first part will be a presentation by Inspec Fibres Mr. Stanley Hu, Sales & Marketing, Shanghai China Liaison Office focusing on “The Filtration Industry in China and How This Market Will Affect Filtration Worldwide”.
The second part will be “P84 Filtration Efficiency: VDI Test Results”. Please schedule your calendar for this years seminar. Last years event was in Philadelphia, and was held at the Ben Franklin Science Museum.
The afternoon technical seminar was on "Filtration Capabilities with Blended Fibers" and had a good balance of attendees from plant managers having filtration efficiency challenges to those new to the industry, understanding the characteristics of various filter medias.
The evenings dinner and entertainment was hosted under the stars in the museum planetarium.
We look forward to being with our long-time colleagues as well as welcoming the new ones in Chicago this November. Further details on our event will be mailed out soon.

Inspec Participates in 2007 APC/PCUG Conference hosted by Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA)

2007 Air Pollution Control (APC) Round Table includes a 70+ booth exhibition and two days of O&M panels and technical workshops given by coal-fired power generation industry experts.
Inspec’s Florin Popovici and Mark Aitken participated in both, the exhibit and the technical workshop.
Popovici presentation was based on “Filtration Materials for PJFFs”.
The workshop focused on filter material properties in relation to process conditions associated with coal fired boiler bag houses. Also presented was the analyzed filtration mechanism for needle felts based on round and tri-lobal fibers. In addition, the workshop described specific filter materials and laboratory assessment methodology, and included case studies and references.
The 2008 APC/PCUG Conference will be hosted by Georgia Power
