Evonik Fibres 7th Annual Appreciation Dinner & Technical Seminar
|
This years annual event took place in Chicago, Illinois during the Filtration 2007 Conference at the Navy Pier on November 14-15, 2007. Our Technical Seminar was attended by a record breaking 44 people who listened to a presentation by Evonik Fibres Mr. Stanley Hu, Sales & Marketing, Shanghai China Liaison Office focusing on “The Filtration Industry in China and How This Market Will Affect Filtration Worldwide”. The second presentation was presented by Dr. Herbert Griesser, Evonik Fibres General Manager, on “P84 Filtration Efficiency: VDI Test Results”.
72 attendees took part of the evenings event with a Chicago skyline dinner cruise. We thank everyone for taking the time for attending and for bringing their personal guests for partaking in the festivities

Evonik Fibres 9th International Conference on High Temperature Filtration September 24th—26th, 2008

Next year’s 9th International Conference on High Temperature Filtration will once again take place at one of the most picturesque locations in Austria. The Hotel Gut Brandlhof in the mountains of Saalfelden, Austria, will be our host in the Fall of 2008, September 24th thru the 26th. The conference topic selected is “Coal, biomass and alternative fuels - challenges and solutions”.
At this point, we have a “call for papers”. If you feel your company would have technical issues that would focus on this year’s topic, please let us know of your interest. As always, we will be selective on those papers as we are not able to have all the presentations due to time constraints. Please keep these dates available to attend as the conference is two-fold; great presentations and beautiful scenery!

Inspec is now Evonik Fibres

On September 12th, a new corporate brand had been introduced: Evonik Industries. Evonik is the creative industrial group for chemicals, energy and real estate – a global leader in specialty chemicals, an expert in power generation from hard coal and renewable energies, and one of the largest private residential real estate companies in Germany. As part of the brand launch, our company name has changed as well: Inspec Fibres GmbH has been renamed Evonik Fibres GmbH. All contract relationships you have with Inspec Fibres GmbH to date will remain in place, with Evonik Fibres GmbH. Please reflect this name change in your future correspondence. Because it may take a while for our IT systems to be completely switched to the new corporate brand, it is possible that you will receive business documents bearing the Degussa logo in the weeks ahead.
However, the e-mail addresses of our employees have been adapted already
