High moisture contents, frequent dew point crossings and the lack of flue gas neutralisation systems are typical environments where Procon® has long proven records. Besides a standard round fibre, Procon® is also available in a unique trilobal cross section providing significantly more surface area. The trilobal shaped fibre is especially suited for applications where stringent dust emissions have to be met.The outstanding properties of Procon® make this suitable for many filtration applications in the industry.
In high temperature filtration Procon® is typically used in:

• coal fired boilers with or without flue gas neutralisation
• cement mills
• product filters for chemical industries
• oil and gas firings
• asphalt plants

Besides high temperaure filtration Procon® is also suitable for liquid process filtration.
