P84 High Temperature Filtration
|
The outstanding thermal and chemical properties of P84 polyimide fibres result in extremely efficient material for filtration. Operating temperatures up to 260 °C and harsh chemical environment can be handled. With its fully aromatic structure it has a high chemical resistance to various components in the flue gas providing a long service life of filter media.
The highest specific surface of all fibres available ensures an outstanding collection efficiency of dust particles. For this reason P84 is also used in fibre blends with the intention to boost the filtration efficiency at critical applications .
P84 is successfully installed in cement plants for dedusting the kiln off gases, in municipal solid waste incinerators, in coal fired boilers, …..
Fibre blends with PTFE and PES, PAN Procon are used for cement mill dedusting, coal fired boilers, etc...
